Restalo.es is the reference guide for restaurant reservations in Spain. They offer a wide selection of different kinds of restaurants through their web platform.

CHALLENGE

In 2011 they would launch their first iPhone app developed internally. After identifying the potential of the channel they decide to find a technology partner to assist in defining their mobile strategy and the implementation of that strategy. SlashMobility is selected to accompany them on this project.

SOLUTION

After evaluating the existing application and analyzing the competition strategy, we define a versioning plan, short-term, focused on improving the iPhone app and launch this app for the Android platform. Likewise, the strategy defined in the medium term, for both versions and platforms in order to increase the number of transactions and turn their application in the benchmark in the field of restaurant reservations for the mobile channel.

RESULT

Réstalo doubled their downloads and restaurant bookings increased by 30% thanks to the mobile channel, loyalty of users and getting a large number of positive comments while SlashMobility led the project.
