In 2011, seeing the potential of the mobile channel and the advantages it could bring to the business, LetsBonus decides to invest in an aggressive strategy that positions them as industry leaders in the mobile channel. This required developing an application with the critical features on leading platforms in record time.
Identifying the critical functionalities of the web was not enough, the next step was to identify what added value from the resources offered by smartphones could be incorporated into the application. This development of the first version of the app for iPhone, Android and BlackBerry, which lasted four weeks was initiated, and in parallel. Guidelines and priority of features for new versions and the roadmap for the year ahead were defined.
Upon its release, it becomes a recommended app by Apple and remains in the Top 5 downloads of App Store since then, is in the Top most downloaded free Android applications and is the only application on BlackBerry about collective buying.
LetsBonus thus becomes, a reference application and is in constant improvement to simplify the user’s buying experience. Currently, almost half of the visits LetsBonus are already through mobile channels, increasing, at the same time, the company sales.
